Recently Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers settled a TAC claim for a person who was injured when innocently riding his pushbike by a hit and run driver. He suffered significant injuries to his right ankle requiring surgery and the insertion of pins and screws.
The man has been unable to return to work because of his injuries. This was particularly difficult for him to accept as he considers himself a worker and had a very strong work ethic. He also lost the enjoyment of many aspects of his life.
Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers assisted the Plaintiff in lodging a serious injury application with the TAC. The TAC accepted liability and a conference was held prior to suing. Despite the plaintiff not working at the time of accident, we were able to assist him in being awarded damages for economic loss in addition to compensation for pain and suffering. The TAC offered a six figure sum which the Plaintiff accepted.
This was a great result for the injured person whose life has changed dramatically since the accident.
