Coroner releases footage of Gong Ling Tang

The Inquest into the death of Gong Ling Tang concluded today with the Coroner's findings to be provided next year. On the final day of the inquest, the Coroner agreed to release CCTV footage of Mr Tang's treatment whilst in custody.

Genna Angelowitsch, for his wife and daughter, said The family are grateful that the tragic final hours of their husband and father have been revealed. The police who were there did not give evidence but the CCTV footage shows their actions.

Ms Angelowitsch also said that the family were grateful for the brave testimony of the interpreter Ms Lipski. Lawyer, Ms Angelowitsch said the family were grateful for the apology from the Deputy Commissioner of Police, But unfortunately Mrs Truong and her daughter are still suffering now.
