Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers recently settled a matter for a woman who slipped outside a retail outlet and sustained significant injury to her hand.
On the day of incident, there was torrential rain pour and the walkway was extremely slippery. The woman attempted to avoid the wet patches but unfortunately slipped and fell onto her hand. Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers successfully argued that the retailer did not have any matting in place and had a duty of care to ensure that the walkway was not slippery and dangerous given that they were aware of the torrential rain pour.
The woman received damages for pain and suffering and also for medical expenses. She was most pleased with the outcome and the fact that the matter resolved out of court.
