Work and Suicide report launch

Work and Suicide report launch

On 23 September, with support from Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers, John Bottomley, Director of the Creative Ministries Network launched a report entitled "Suicide and Work: The need for improved Data Collection on work related factors in suicide as a contribution to suicide prevention".

The report, written by John Bottomley and Margaret Neith and published by the Creative Ministries Network, examines data collected from Worksafe and Coronial Data and highlights apparent inconsistencies between the two sources.

The report suggests improvements to Coronial data collection on work factors in suicide, to aid in the development of policies aimed at the prevention of work related suicide.

The report is dedicated to the memory of Terry O'Brien, one of the founding partners of Holding Redlich.

For further information on the report or to receive a copy of the report, contact the Creative Ministries Network.
