An apprentice mechanic received $650,000 last week in a settlement won by the TAC department at Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers.
The Victorian apprentice had been squatting working on a car when a driver drove off the road into the rear of the car. It was pushed into the apprentice who was severely injured and scarred as a result. His working future was affected and he will suffer continuing difficulties with his injured leg.
