Towards the end of September, Victorian WorkSafe Inspectors commenced a targeted blitz at domestic and commercial building sites checking on the use of portable ladders; checking to see if employers are not breaching relevant legislation, regulations and compliance codes. Inspectors are reminding employers that they must identify fall hazards, assess the risk of all hazards identified and eliminate the risk.
